NutraTear was originally formulated for computer vision syndrome, and is well suited for work-related, climate-related, age-related and medication-related dry eye. It is a surprisingly versatile product, popular with mild, moderate and even severe dry eye patients (the latter often alternating between Dakrina and NutraTear depending on their needs).
NutraTear is one of the product line developed by eminent ocular surface scientist Frank Holly PhD. Little known during the 1990s when they first became available, they were later popularized on internet forums by patients with severe dry eye, who dubbed them "Dr. Holly's Drops". The other three products developed by Dr. Holly are Dwelle, Dakrina and Freshkote.
NutraTear's unusual red tint is attributable to Vitamin B12 and does not stain. |
